Valentine Giveaway

...And I love my blog friends!

We're long overdue for a blog giveaway and there's no better time than Valentine's Day to let you all know that you're sweethearts. The gift -- and alas there's only one -- is a copy of the book, "Treasures Forever: Crafts for Keeping Family Memories." There are wonderful ideas for beautiful crafts and the talented crafters in Buttercupland will be inspired. I'm very taken with the Vacation Memory Coasters and the Spirit Jar. There are so many ways shown in the book to let family and friends know you love them and treasure the time you spend together.

To enter, please leave a comment about a favorite family keepsake and please be a follower. Entries close on Valentine's Day, February 14th at 11:59 and I'll post the winner on February 15th.

Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday!

Already a follower, but you know that :) My absolute favorite family keep sake is one that isn't done yet...I have made a 1st year scrapbook for all of my nieces and nephews...and now am making one for my son. It will be so much fun to look back when he is giving me grief and "remembering when" Sigh...

Hello, I'm your happy follower! My keepsake is photo albums of my 4 children growing up. Each year when they come home they pull out the albums and have fun with them comparing and remembering. It really makes me feel good about keeping the memories for them and their children. Hugs

Hi! I'm already a follower, too. I would love to win! And let's see...my favorite family keepsake...gosh, I have more than one...I'll choose the teapot I have that my maternal grandma owned. It is VERY old and it sits in my china cabinet, along with other lovely items.

What a lovely book and how generous of you to want to give one away. My favourite family keepsake is my grandmother's reader. It dates back to the late 1890's and is a real treasure. The pages are quite old and brittle now, so it doesn't get looked at much these days, but it is something that I value above everything else that I own. Just to picture her hands running across the words as a child and the hours she must have spent learning from it's pages tugs on my heart strings. xxoo

I'll take myself out of the running so someone else will have a chance to WIN this charming book. My favorite family keepsake is a vintage lamp that used to sit on my Grandma's dresser. And an unused tin of powder. Good Luck ladies and gents for the Valentine Giveaway. take care.

Oh YES I am a follower and would love to win this book:) I have my Daddy's Bible and it is one of my favorite keepsakes! I gave it to him as a gift for Christmas in 1965 and after he passed away... now it is mine! I carry it to Church with me every Sunday and it even has some scriptures written in his handwriting:) Have a blessed day my friend and thanks for the opportunity! HUGS!

What a perfect occasion to showcase this book! I'm enjoying everyone's comments.

'Had to put myself in time-out ... to seriously ponder which family treasure means the most. Then, I happened to glance down. My wedding ring is crafted from the gold and stones from my mother's and grandmothers' wedding rings ... they're with me always, and that means the most!

PS - Yes, I'm a happy follower!

It is a difficult thing to decide just what is a fav. there are so many...however I have a tiny celulite/plastic baby doll with a bottle clasped in her hand..still in the celulite/plastic material all it has on is a wide pink ribbon tied in a big bow...she was given to my Mother before she was married....I suppose nowadays it would be called at her "hen party" as she would have been married 78 years this little baby all of about 3ins arms and legs attatched by cotton...will be 79 on her birhday in August !!
much love your follower for ever,
Sybil xx
